Skillet Chicken and Gnocchi

Directions

  1. 1Grab a large skillet.
  2. 2Chop around eight strips of bacon.
  3. 3Start cooking bacon at a medium to low temperature.
  4. 4Cube around a pound and a half of chicken really small.
  5. 5Season the chicken with Slap Your Mama seasoning, ranch seasoning, and a tablespoon or two of cornstarch.
  6. 6Mix the chicken seasoning well.
  7. 7When the bacon is almost done cooking, add a diced onion.
  8. 8Finish cooking the bacon and onion.
  9. 9Set the cooked bacon and onion aside on paper towels to drain.
  10. 10Add three tablespoons of butter to the pan.
  11. 11Once the butter is melted, add the chicken to the pan.
  12. 12Cook the chicken at a medium to high temperature for three minutes.
  13. 13Flip the chicken over.
  14. 14Cook the chicken for another three minutes.
  15. 15Take the chicken off the pan and set it aside.
  16. 16Add a package of gnocchi to the same pan.
  17. 17Toss the gnocchi until it is nice and brown.
  18. 18Add 3/4 cups of chicken broth to the pan.
  19. 19Add one cup of heavy cream to the pan.
  20. 20Season the mixture with the rest of the ranch seasoning and a little more Slap Your Mama seasoning.
  21. 21Mix until the sauce begins to thicken.
  22. 22Add two handfuls of spinach.
  23. 23Add about a half a cup of shredded Parmesan cheese.
  24. 24Mix until the cheese is melted.
  25. 25Add the cooked chicken to the pan.
  26. 26Top with the cooked bacon.

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 0.5 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
