Heat the frying oil.

Add 100 grams of chopped shallots and cook until lightly toasted, stirring every minute until golden brown.

Add 20 grams of garlic and cook for about two minutes.

Add a tablespoon of soy sauce and one teaspoon of salt.

Add half a cup of red pepper flakes and half a cup of Korean red chili flakes.

Cook everything together for about two minutes, continuously stirring.

Turn off the stove and remove the pan from heat.

Store this in a glass jar and let cool.

1.5 cups leftover frying oil
100 g chopped shallots
20 g garlic
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
0.5 cup red pepper flakes
0.5 cup Korean red chili flakes

Tips
This is a great way to use leftover frying oil.
The recipe is mildly salty to allow for customization.
The flavors will develop over time when stored in a glass jar.
