One Pan Steak and Potatoes with Garlic Butter

Directions

  1. 1Peel the Yukon gold potatoes.
  2. 2Cut the peeled potatoes into nice even cubes.
  3. 3Cut the New York strip steak into cubes of the same size as the potatoes.
  4. 4Make a seasoning mixture with paprika, Italian seasoning, adobo, white pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. 5Add Worcestershire sauce to the steak.
  6. 6Add half of the seasoning mixture to the steak and brown it.
  7. 7Add oil and the remaining half of the seasoning mixture to the parboiled potatoes.
  8. 8Sear the steak in a hot skillet for about 5 to 6 minutes.
  9. 9Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
  10. 10Add the parboiled and seasoned potatoes to the same skillet with the steak juices and stir.
  11. 11Add the steak back into the skillet with the potatoes, along with the delicious juices (au jus) from the steak.
  12. 12Prepare the garlic herb butter by mixing herbs, garlic, and butter.
  13. 13Add the garlic herb butter to the steak and potatoes in the skillet and mix it in.
