Start by cutting the five roma tomatoes in half.

Place the tomatoes, one serrano pepper, half of a small white onion, and four jalapeño peppers on a baking sheet.

Broil for five minutes.

After five minutes, add four garlic cloves and drizzle with olive oil.

Flip the jalapeños and the serrano pepper.

Continue broiling for another five minutes.

Transfer the broiled vegetables into a blender, removing the skin from the garlic cloves.

Add a small bunch of cilantro, half a teaspoon of black pepper, the juice of one lime, and salt to taste.

Blend until desired consistency is reached.

Tips
