Easy Chicken Taquitos

Directions

  1. 1Drop two large chicken breasts into your slow cooker.
  2. 2Drop a block of softened cream cheese in the slow cooker.
  3. 3Cover it with a packet's worth of taco seasoning and a can of mild green chilies.
  4. 4Throw the lid on the slow cooker.
  5. 5Set your slow cooker to low for two to three hours and wait.
  6. 6Once the chicken is done and falling apart, shred it.
  7. 7Once the chicken is shredded and everything is mixed together, stir in about a cup of your choice of cheese.
  8. 8Throw the lid back on so the cheese will melt and everything can get cozy.
  9. 9Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  10. 10Grab a tortilla (zero carb flour tortillas are recommended).
  11. 11Scoop some of the chicken mixture into your tortilla, not too much.
  12. 12Roll up the tortilla.
  13. 13Drop the rolled taquito on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  14. 14Spray the taquitos with some cooking oil (avocado oil is recommended).
  15. 15Throw the baking sheet in the oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit until they get as crispy as you want them, about 10 minutes.
  16. 16While the taquitos are cooling off, whip up some dipping sauce.
  17. 17Get a small bowl and mix together two parts sour cream to one part the salsa of your choice.
  18. 18Whisk the dipping sauce ingredients together.
  19. 19Once the taquitos have cooled down, grab the dipping sauce, pick up your favorite taquito, and dip it.
