Start by cooking a little oil, shallot, and onion in a pot.

Add a quarter cup of wine to the pot.

Add vodka to the mixture.

Add the tomato into the pot.

Add salt and pepper to the sauce.

Rinse the tomato cans with water and add the water to the sauce to thin it out.

Add a lump of butter to the sauce to make it sweeter.

Add a teaspoon of sugar to sweeten the sauce.

Add a teaspoon of salt to the sauce to balance the acidity of the tomato.

Add a teaspoon of black pepper to the sauce.

Once the sauce has simmered for about 10 minutes, add the cream.

Cook two pounds of Penne pasta.

Tips
Rinse the cans with water to ensure no good tomato is wasted and to thin out the sauce.
Add sugar to sweeten the sauce.
Add salt to take the acid out of the tomato.
The cream makes the sauce special and pink.
