Dump and Bake Cheesy Chicken and Rice with Broccoli

Directions

  1. 1Pour two cups of white rice directly into your greased casserole dish.
  2. 2Add one family-size can of cream of chicken soup directly on top of the rice.
  3. 3Fill half of that can with chicken broth and pour it directly on top of the cream of chicken soup.
  4. 4Mix the broth with the cream of chicken soup and the rice thoroughly.
  5. 5Add about two and a half pounds of chicken breast to the mixture.
  6. 6Season the chicken with a little bit of salt.
  7. 7Add a little bit of pepper to the chicken.
  8. 8Sprinkle some garlic powder over the chicken.
  9. 9Add Italian seasoning to the chicken.
  10. 10Cut the washed broccoli into florets using scissors and spread them over the chicken.
  11. 11Gently push the broccoli florets down into the cream mixture.
  12. 12Pour one packet of onion soup mix over everything, ensuring some gets on the chicken, broccoli, and rice.
  13. 13Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and place it into a 350-degree oven for one hour.
  14. 14After one hour, take the dish out of the oven, uncover it, and add about a cup and a half of delicious shredded cheese on top.
  15. 15Throw it back into the oven, uncovered, for about 5 minutes to melt the cheese on top.
  16. 16Remove the casserole from the oven once the cheese is bubbly and melted.
