Dill Pickle Pizza

Directions

  1. 1Start by mixing 2 cups of warm milk and 14 grams of yeast (or two packets) and let it sit for 8 minutes until it blooms.
  2. 2Add 4 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and 1.5 tablespoons of salt to the yeast mixture.
  3. 3Mix the dough together until nicely incorporated and smooth, using a mixer or by hand for about 10 minutes.
  4. 4Place the dough in a bowl and let it double in size.
  5. 5Dry out a whole lot of pickles on a paper towel to prevent the pizza from getting soggy.
  6. 6Prepare the sauce by mixing 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1 cup of sour cream, dill seasoning, fresh garlic, and onion powder.
  7. 7Add 1/4 cup of pickle brine to the sauce and mix well.
  8. 8Spread a good layer of the prepared sauce on the pizza dough.
  9. 9Arrange the first layer of 8 to 10 pickles on the sauce.
  10. 10Top with mozzarella cheese.
  11. 11Add a second layer of dill pickles on top of the cheese.
  12. 12Optionally, add bacon on top for more flavor.
  13. 13Bake immediately at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes, or from frozen for 25 minutes, or use a pizza oven.
  14. 14Optionally, add a little ranch on top for extra zing.
