Onion Tart with Mascarpone
Directions
- 1Preheat the oven to 400F.
- 2Slice your onions thinly.
- 3Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 4Cut a small one-inch perimeter around your puff pastry sheet.
- 5Spread the mascarpone onto the middle section of the puff pastry.
- 6Arrange the sliced onions on top of the mascarpone.
- 7Add thyme on top of the onions.
- 8Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 9Beat your egg and brush around the edges of the pastry sheet.
- 10Bake for 22 minutes.
