Pepper Steak over White Rice

Directions

  1. 1Thinly slice your preferred cut of steak and cut them into strips.
  2. 2Season your steak with salt, pepper, chicken or beef bouillon, garlic and onion powder, soy sauce, rice vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, ginger paste, grated garlic, and baking soda.
  3. 3Mix all the ingredients well to coat the steak.
  4. 4Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. 5While the steak is marinating, chop an onion, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and green onion.
  6. 6To a medium heat skillet, add avocado oil and your marinated steak.
  7. 7Cook the steak until you get a nice crust on each side.
  8. 8Remove the cooked steak from the skillet.
  9. 9Add in your chopped onions, bell peppers, and the bottom parts of your green onion to the same skillet.
  10. 10Add in a mixture of beef broth and soy sauce.
  11. 11Add cornstarch as a thickener, more black pepper, and the top parts of your green onions.
  12. 12Return the cooked steak to the skillet.
  13. 13Let the sauce reduce until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  14. 14Serve the pepper steak over white rice.
  15. 15Drizzle more sauce over the steak and rice.

  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 0.25 cup Beef Broth
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Corn starch
  • 1 tbsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • Avocado oil
  • White rice

Tips
