1In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of warm milk, 1 tbsp of water, 1 tsp of active dry yeast, 1 tbsp of melted butter, 1 egg, and 1 tbsp of sugar.
2Mix in 1 & 3/4 cups of all purpose flour and knead until a smooth dough forms (about 5 minutes).
3Transfer the dough back to the mixing bowl and let it rise somewhere warm for 2 hours, or until fully doubled in size.
4Once the dough has risen, divide it into 4 equal pieces.
5Shape into buns and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
6Make an egg wash from 1 egg and 2 tsp of water. Brush the dough with the egg wash and then place on top of your oven while your preheat it to 375F.
7Bake for 16-18 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
