Directions

  1. 1Open and rinse the tofu block under running water. Pat it dry with a cotton cloth or paper towels.
  2. 2Cut the tofu block into eight equal pieces.
  3. 3Heat the frying pan over medium-high heat and add three tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  4. 4Fry the tofu pieces for about five minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. 5Meanwhile, prepare the seasoning sauce: in a bowl, mix soy sauce, gochugaru, minced garlic, finely chopped onion, sesame oil, and a half teaspoon of sugar.
  6. 6Once the tofu is cooked, transfer it to a plate and pour the seasoning sauce over it.
  7. 7Garnish with chopped green onion and sesame seeds.
