Ground beef (or lamb) curry

Directions

  1. 1Heat oil in a large saucepan on high heat. Add 500g of mince and season with salt. Don't touch it.
  2. 2Dice one red onion and three small tomatoes.
  3. 3Crush one large clove of garlic and dice it.
  4. 4Add your onions to the beef and stir your beef up, breaking it up at the same time.
  5. 5Add the tomatoes and the garlic.
  6. 6Season with smoked paprika, ground coriander, garlic powder, cumin, garam masala and chilli flakes.
  7. 7Give everything a good stir, cover and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.
  8. 8Add around a cup of frozen peas and stir them through.
  9. 9Add half a cup of water and simmer for another 2 minutes.
  10. 10Serve over rice with some chopped coriander.

  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 steamed rice
  • 1 chopped coriander leaves
