Heat oil in a large saucepan on high heat. Add 500g of mince and season with salt. Don't touch it.

Dice one red onion and three small tomatoes.

Crush one large clove of garlic and dice it.

Add your onions to the beef and stir your beef up, breaking it up at the same time.

Add the tomatoes and the garlic.

Season with smoked paprika, ground coriander, garlic powder, cumin, garam masala and chilli flakes.

Give everything a good stir, cover and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.

Add around a cup of frozen peas and stir them through.

Add half a cup of water and simmer for another 2 minutes.

Serve over rice with some chopped coriander.

0.5 cup water
1 steamed rice
1 chopped coriander leaves
