Salmon Sushi Bake

Directions

  1. 1Soak salmon in cooking sake for 30 minutes to get the fishy smell out (optional steps).
  2. 2Season salmon with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then oil it up (or you can use your favorite seasoning here instead).
  3. 3Cook salmon in the oven at 400°F (205°C) for 12-15 minutes.
  4. 4Make sushi rice while you wait for the salmon to cook by adding 3 cups cooked white rice and 2 tbsp rice vinegar.
  5. 5Add 5 oz cream cheese, 4 tbsp mayo, and 2 tbsp sriracha to cooked salmon and mix (add imitation crab here if you want to mix that in also).
  6. 6Layer the ingredients: rice on the bottom, seaweed (or furikake) on top, then the salmon mix.
  7. 7Bake in the oven again at 400°F (205°C) for 10 minutes.
  8. 8Sauce it up with spicy mayo, yum yum sauce, soy sauce, eel sauce, or whatever sauce you prefer.
  9. 9Wrap with seaweed and enjoy!
