Directions

Remove the membrane from the ribs by cutting and peeling it back.

Remove any excess fat from the ribs.

Season the ribs with garlic and parsley.

Season with a tablespoon of salt.

Season with a tablespoon of pepper.

Season with a quarter cup of dark brown sugar.

Massage the seasoning into the ribs.

Make sure to season the other side of the ribs too.

Add Bachan's Japanese Barbecue Sauce to the ribs.

Cover and bake the ribs in a 300-degree oven for about one hour.

After the hour, drop the temperature to 275 degrees and cook for another hour.

Baste the ribs and cook them uncovered for a final 30 minutes at 350 degrees to get color on top.

Tips
Ribs have a membrane that you want to remove. Cut and peel back the membrane. Also remove any excess fat from the ribs.
Make sure to season both sides of the ribs.
The sauces are very rich in flavor and beautifully umami.
