Japanese-style barbecue ribs

Directions

  1. 1Remove the membrane from the ribs by cutting and peeling it back.
  2. 2Remove any excess fat from the ribs.
  3. 3Season the ribs with garlic and parsley.
  4. 4Season with a tablespoon of salt.
  5. 5Season with a tablespoon of pepper.
  6. 6Season with a quarter cup of dark brown sugar.
  7. 7Massage the seasoning into the ribs.
  8. 8Make sure to season the other side of the ribs too.
  9. 9Add Bachan's Japanese Barbecue Sauce to the ribs.
  10. 10Cover and bake the ribs in a 300-degree oven for about one hour.
  11. 11After the hour, drop the temperature to 275 degrees and cook for another hour.
  12. 12Baste the ribs and cook them uncovered for a final 30 minutes at 350 degrees to get color on top.
