Directions

1Boil cavatappi noodles in a pot, seasoning the water with chicken bouillon powder for extra flavor.
2Shred all of your cheese by hand.
3Separate half of the shredded cheese into another bowl.
4Combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and chicken bouillon.
5Melt the butter in a pan.
6Add half of the seasoning mixture to the melted butter and let it bloom for about 2 minutes.
7Sprinkle in the flour and mix very well.
8Pour in the evaporated milk and heavy cream.
9Mix until everything is smooth.
10Add the rest of the seasoning mixture and a little bit of Dijon mustard, then whisk again.
11Turn off the heat and add in all of the delicious cheese.
12Stir everything well until you get a velvety, delicious cheese sauce.
13Add the cavatappi noodles to your cheese sauce.
14Transfer half of the mac and cheese into your pan and spread it out.
15Sprinkle with half of the remaining cheese.
16Top with the rest of the mac and cheese.
17Finish off with the rest of the cheese.
18Pop into your oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
19Broil for the last 2 to 3 minutes for a delicious golden crispy top.
