Directions

Add 4 tablespoons of white sugar to a bowl.

Pour in 1 cup of hot water to dissolve the sugar.

Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.

Add 3 tablespoons of fish sauce.

Add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar.

Dice 4 Thai chilies (or more/less to taste).

Add the diced Thai chilies to the bowl.

Add minced garlic to your liking.

Optionally, add a little bit of chili paste for extra spice.

Stir all ingredients together.

Refrigerate the sauce for about 15 minutes until it cools.

Serve the chilled sauce with egg rolls or other preferred dishes.

4 Thai chilies
minced garlic
chili paste

Tips
You can adjust the amount of Thai chilies and minced garlic to your preference.
Thai chilies can be frozen and thawed quickly under lukewarm water or by letting them sit out for a few minutes.
The sauce needs to be chilled in the fridge for about 15 minutes before serving.
