Directions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. 2Cut off both ends of the onions.
  3. 3Peel the onions.
  4. 4Hollow out the core of the onions.
  5. 5Take some butter and put it into the hollowed-out hole in the onion.
  6. 6Fill the onion with butter.
  7. 7Put the butter for the sauce in the microwave to melt.
  8. 8Season the melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, oregano leaves, Old Bay seasoning, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  9. 9Place the onions on a sheet of tin foil on a baking sheet.
  10. 10Pour the sauce over the onions.
  11. 11Sprinkle additional seasonings (garlic powder and black pepper) over the onions.
  12. 12Fold the aluminum foil around the onions, making sure not to puncture the foil to keep the juices in.
  13. 13Pop the wrapped onions into the oven.
  14. 14Cook for 90 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  15. 15Once cooked, finish the dish with the extra sauce.

Tips

  • If you are looking for a healthier option, don't watch this video.
  • If you don't have Old Bay seasoning, you can substitute it for regular seasoning salt.
  • Be sure that you don't actually puncture the tin foil; we want to keep all those juices in there.
