Japanese Gyoza with Paper-thin Gyoza Wrapper

  1. 1Chop garlic, ginger, and green onions.
  2. 2Mix ground pork, chopped green onions, cabbage, garlic, ginger, sake, and soy sauce in a bowl.
  3. 3Prepare gyoza wrappers.
  4. 4Add pork mixture and cheese to the center of each wrapper.
  5. 5Fold the wrappers to create gyoza shape.
  6. 6Heat oil in a frying pan and arrange the gyozas in a circle.
  7. 7Cook until lightly browned. Add starch water and cover.
  8. 8Cook until the water evaporates and the bottom is nicely browned.
