Chop garlic, ginger, and green onions.

Mix ground pork, chopped green onions, cabbage, garlic, ginger, sake, and soy sauce in a bowl.

Prepare gyoza wrappers.

Add pork mixture and cheese to the center of each wrapper.

Fold the wrappers to create gyoza shape.

Heat oil in a frying pan and arrange the gyozas in a circle.

Cook until lightly browned. Add starch water and cover.
