2If feeling frisky, you can brown it first, cut it in half, and spread it out.
3Grab a mixing bowl and add 1.5 cups of ketchup, 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
4Whisk all of this until beautifully combined.
5Pour the mixture over the roast.
6Put the lid on and set your crockpot to low heat for 8 to 10 hours.
7Once the time is up, take the lid off.
8Shred the meat with two forks.
9Pour the shredded meat back into the juices.
10Coat the meat, put the lid back on for 10 or 15 minutes.
11Take the lid off and prepare a toasted bun with mustard and pickles.
