Directions

  1. 1Brown 1 lb of bacon.
  2. 2Take 1 tablespoon of bacon grease.
  3. 3Whip up 1 block of room temperature cream cheese.
  4. 4Add 2 cups of sour cream and 1.5 cups of mayonnaise to the cream cheese.
  5. 5Add 1 tsp of pepper, 0.25 tsp of salt, and 0.5 tsp of garlic powder to the mixture.
  6. 6Chop one bundle of green onions and add to the mixture.
  7. 7Cut up half of the browned bacon and add to the mixture.
  8. 8Mix in 4 cups of mozzarella and 4 cups of cheddar until well combined.
  9. 9Prepare the topping by combining 2 to 3 cups of chopped pecans, the remaining half of the bacon, and the second bundle of green onions.
  10. 10Line a bundt cake pan with saran wrap.
  11. 11Press the topping mixture into the bottom of the saran-wrapped bundt cake pan.
  12. 12Fill the bundt cake pan with the cheese mixture.
  13. 13Fold the saran wrap back over the top of the mixture.
  14. 14Refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  15. 15When ready to serve, place a giant plate on top of the bundt cake pan and flip it over.
  16. 16Fill the center of the ring with strawberry jam.

  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 tbsp bacon grease
  • 1 block room temperature cream cheese
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1.5 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 bundles green onions
  • 4 cups mozzarella
  • 4 cups cheddar
  • 2 to 3 cups chopped pecans
  • strawberry jam
  • pepper jelly

Tips

  • This recipe can be cut in half for a smaller crowd.
  • The longer the dip sits in the fridge, the better it gets.
  • Serve with strawberry jam or pepper jelly in the center, and beef thins on the side.
