Directions
1
Make an instantly flavorful dashi broth by mixing a cup of hot water with a teaspoon of Hondashi.
2
While the dashi broth simmers, add thin-sliced beef and season with garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey.
3
Mix in some sliced onions to make a lazy bulgogi.
4
Mix in a handful of spinach.
5
Add half a cup of your Hondashi broth.
6
Let it simmer with two beaten eggs.
Ingredients
1 cup hot water
1 tsp Hondashi
thin-sliced beef
garlic
soy sauce
sesame oil
honey
sliced onions
1 handful spinach
0.5 cup Hondashi broth
2 beaten eggs
Tips
This is a "lazy bulgogi" for days you don't have time to marinate your beef.
Hondashi adds a flavorful and comforting depth to any kind of Japanese soup or simmered dish.
