Boil six eggs for 6 minutes to achieve a soft-boiled consistency.

Immediately transfer the boiled eggs to an ice bath to stop the cooking process.

Peel the eggs after they have cooled in the ice bath.

Pour half a cup of soy sauce into a container.

Add three-quarter cup of water to the soy sauce.

Add one tablespoon of minced garlic to the mixture.

Add one Thai chili pepper to the mixture.

Add one large diced jalapeño to the mixture.

Add one ounce of sliced green onion to the mixture.

Add one tablespoon of sesame seeds to the mixture.

Add one and a half tablespoons of brown sugar to the mixture.

Mix the marinade ingredients thoroughly.

Carefully place the peeled eggs into the soy marinade.

Cover the container and store the marinated eggs in the refrigerator overnight.

Serve the marinated eggs over rice for breakfast.
