Boil eggs for 6-7 minutes max. If the eggs are from the fridge, boil them for 7 minutes.

Transfer the boiled eggs into an ice-cold water bath to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.

Chop the green onions.

Add the chopped green onions to a jar.

Finely chop the garlic cloves.

Add the chopped garlic to the jar with the green onions.

Add light soy sauce to the jar.

Add water to the jar.

Add sesame seeds to the jar.

Add chilli flakes to the jar.

Optionally, add chopped red chillies to the jar.

Stir the marinade mixture well.

Peel the boiled eggs.

Place the peeled eggs into the marinade in the jar.

Close the jar and refrigerate for at least 12-14 hours (not more than 24 hours).

Serve the marinated eggs and enjoy.

Tips
Boil eggs for 6-7 minutes max for the perfect consistency.
Marinate in the fridge for at least 12-14 hours (not more than 24 hours) for optimal flavor absorption.
