Simple Dumpling Bake

Directions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. 2In an oven-safe 9x9 inch baking dish, combine coconut milk, 2 to 3 tablespoons of red Thai curry paste, minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and a bit of sesame oil.
  3. 3Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  4. 4Break up and spread baby bok choy (or other leafy greens) throughout the dish.
  5. 5Lay your favorite frozen dumplings, such as beef mandu, on top of the bok choy.
  6. 6Pour some of the sauce over the dumplings.
  7. 7Cover the pan with tin foil.
  8. 8Bake in the oven on the middle rack for 20 minutes.
  9. 9Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes.
  10. 10Garnish with fresh green onions, chili crisp, glossy and toasted sesame seeds, and a bit of lime.

Tips

  • If you don't have baby bok choy, you can use regular bok choy, spinach, or any other leafy green.
  • Spread the bok choy throughout the dish before adding dumplings.
  • Pour some sauce on top of the dumplings before baking.
