Directions

  1. 1In a stand mixer, cream together the vegetable oil, butter, brown sugar, and regular sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. 2Add one tablespoon of milk, one teaspoon of vanilla, and one egg; mix well.
  3. 3Add baking soda, salt, cream of tartar, and flour, one spoonful at a time, mixing until combined.
  4. 4Fold in three cups of chocolate chips.
  5. 5Prepare baking sheets by lightly greasing them and wiping with a paper towel.
  6. 6Scoop the cookie dough and roll into balls before placing on prepared baking sheets.
  7. 7Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, then let rest for 15 minutes.
