Directions

  1. 1Coat bone in ribeye with olive oil and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. 2Add oil to the cast iron skillet and sear the steak until it reaches the desired temperature.
  3. 3Let the steak rest on a cutting board and add some butter on top.
  4. 4Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and cook for a little longer until it reaches your desired temperature.
  5. 5Boil yellow potatoes until soft.
  6. 6Drain and smash the potatoes with potato masher.
  7. 7Add butter, minced garlic, heavy cream, salt, and pepper to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
  8. 8Serve steak bites over garlic mashed potatoes with chimichurri sauce.
