Directions

  1. 1Peel, core and slice the apples.
  2. 2Add the sliced apples to a skillet.
  3. 3Add brown sugar and cinnamon to the apples.
  4. 4Cook the apples until softened.
  5. 5Roll out the dough and spread it evenly.
  6. 6Add the cooked apples on top of the dough.
  7. 7Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
  8. 8Fold the dough and cut it into strips.
  9. 9Twist the strips to form a braid.
  10. 10Cut the braid into smaller pieces.
  11. 11Fry until golden brown.
  12. 12Dip in glaze and serve.

  • 8 apples
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 dough
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup oil for frying
  • 1 cup glaze
