Directions

  1. 1Mix ketchup, mayo, mustard, relish, and sugar in a bowl to make burger sauce.
  2. 2Form ground beef into loosely shaped 3-ounce balls.
  3. 3Bake the bacon.
  4. 4Add butter to your buns and toast them on a frying pan.
  5. 5Smash the ground beef balls on a hot pan.
  6. 6Season with salt and pepper.
  7. 7Add cheese to the smash burger.
  8. 8Assemble the burger: bun, burger sauce, pickles, smash burger patty, grilled onions, and bacon. Top with the other bun.

  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle relish
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 3 ounces ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 brioche buns
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 slice american cheese
  • 2 tbsp grilled onions
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
