Next Level Breakfast Sandwich

Directions

  1. 1Drizzle olive oil into a cast iron pan.
  2. 2Place breakfast sausages into the pan.
  3. 3Add bacon slices to the pan, layering them around the sausages.
  4. 4Season the bacon and sausages with black pepper.
  5. 5Add cubes of butter to the pan.
  6. 6Turn the sausages over to brown evenly.
  7. 7Turn the bacon over to cook evenly.
  8. 8Add tomatoes to the pan and continue to cook until they start to break down and get some color.
  9. 9Transfer the entire skillet into the oven for about 4 minutes to finish cooking.
  10. 10Drizzle oil into a separate frying pan.
  11. 11Add butter into the frying pan.
  12. 12Crack eggs into the pan to fry.
  13. 13Season the eggs with pepper and salt.
  14. 14Sprinkle a touch of chili flakes over the eggs.
  15. 15Add a touch of Sriracha sauce.
  16. 16Add a touch of Worcestershire sauce.
  17. 17Slice two beautiful pieces of crusty bread.
  18. 18Spoon some of the flavorful oil from the fried eggs onto the slices of bread.
  19. 19Remove the skillet from the oven.
  20. 20Drain the sausages and bacon on a baking sheet lined with paper towel.
  21. 21Crush the roasted tomatoes in the pan with a fork.
  22. 22Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the crushed tomatoes.
  23. 23Slice the sausages in half lengthwise.
  24. 24Layer the sliced sausages on the bottom bread slice.
  25. 25Layer the bacon on top of the sausages.
  26. 26Spoon the beautiful crushed tomatoes on top of the bacon.
  27. 27Place the fried eggs on top of the tomatoes.
  28. 28Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread.
  29. 29Slice the sandwich in half to reveal the runny yolk and layered ingredients.

Tips

  • Do not add salt to the bacon as it's already salty.
