Tips

  • When cutting the chicken, make sure to cut against the grain.
  • When stir-frying the shrimp, let the water cook off to get a nice thick and glossy sauce.
  • If you don't have day-old rice for the fried rice, take some new rice and put it in the fridge to dry out before using it.
  • The chili crisp really makes the dish, according to the cook.
  • Feel the pan to check if it's hot enough to add the chicken. If it's too hot, wait a few seconds and try again. Don't touch the pan for too long if it's hot.
  • Add water to the broccoli so it can steam after you add it to the pan with the sliced onions and butter. Find the biggest lid you can to cover it. After the broccoli is partially cooked, add the sauce you made to the pan.
