One Pan Honey Garlic Pork Chops

Directions

  1. 1Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
  2. 2Heat olive oil in a cast iron pan over medium-high heat.
  3. 3Sear pork chops for 4 minutes on each side, ensuring to sear the sides as well.
  4. 4Set aside the seared pork chops on a separate plate.
  5. 5Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the pan, and then add the minced garlic.
  6. 6Cook the garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. 7Add honey, chicken broth, and rice wine vinegar to the pan and mix.
  8. 8Cook the sauce over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes, stirring periodically, until it reduces and thickens.
  9. 9Add the seared pork chops to the pan.
  10. 10Add the drippings from the pork chops to the pan.
  11. 11Baste the pork chops with the honey garlic sauce.
  12. 12Preheat your oven to broil and place the pan in the oven for 2 minutes.
  13. 13Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
