Directions
- 1Divide the cookie dough into three portions, placing each in a separate bowl.
- 2Add red food coloring to one portion of dough and mix until evenly colored.
- 3Add green food coloring to another portion of dough and mix until evenly colored.
- 4Wrap the plain cookie dough in plastic wrap and flatten it into a rectangle.
- 5Wrap the red cookie dough in plastic wrap and flatten it into a rectangle.
- 6Wrap the green cookie dough in plastic wrap and flatten it into a rectangle.
- 7Roll out the green dough on a piece of plastic wrap.
- 8Place the plain dough on top of the green dough.
- 9Place the red dough on top of the plain dough.
- 10Trim the edges of the layered dough to create a clean rectangle.
- 11Roll the layered dough tightly into a log.
- 12Slice the dough log into individual cookies.
- 13Place the sliced cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
