Shrimp with Creamy Garlic Sauce

Directions

  1. 1Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. 2Season shrimp with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. 3Once the oil is hot, carefully add the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes per side, or until just opaque.
  4. 4Remove shrimp and set aside.
  5. 5Pour off any excess oil, then reduce the heat to medium-low.
  6. 6Add butter and let it melt.
  7. 7Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden, about 1–2 minutes.
  8. 8Deglaze the pan with white wine and let it reduce until almost dry.
  9. 9Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  10. 10Simmer gently until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
  11. 11Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper.
  12. 12Return the cooked shrimp to the pan and toss in the sauce to coat evenly.
  13. 13Garnish with chopped parsley and chili flakes.
  14. 14Serve immediately.
