Directions

  1. 1Dice your green onions into small pieces.
  2. 2Pour your egg whites, water, and salt into a small bowl.
  3. 3Mix and remove any bubbles/foam from the liquid mixture.
  4. 4Cover the top of the small bowl with plastic wrap and poke a bunch of holes through it using a toothpick.
  5. 5Place the small bowl into a larger bowl/tray, and fill the larger bowl/tray with boiling water until it reaches almost to the top of the smaller bowl.
  6. 6Carefully place the tray/large bowl into the microwave at 50% power for 6-8 minutes until the eggs steam and are solid, but jiggle.
  7. 7Once cooked, remove the small bowl from the water-filled tray, and remove the plastic wrap.
  8. 8Then pour your soy sauce, chili oil, sesame oil, and add your diced green onions on top.
  9. 9Slice your steamed egg with a knife to create a grid pattern and enjoy!
