Burnt Garlic Noodles

Directions

  1. 1Add some salt to boiling water.
  2. 2Add some oil to the boiling water.
  3. 3Add dry noodles to the boiling water.
  4. 4Add 1 cup of soya chunks to the boiling water with noodles.
  5. 5Cook until the noodles and soya chunks are perfectly done.
  6. 6Remove the cooked noodles and soya chunks from the water using a strainer.
  7. 7Pour 2 tablespoons of dark soya sauce into a bowl.
  8. 8Add vinegar to the bowl.
  9. 9Add ½ tablespoon of tomato ketchup to the bowl.
  10. 10Add 1 tablespoon of chili paste to the bowl.
  11. 11Add 1 tablespoon of veg aromat powder to the bowl.
  12. 12Mix all the sauce ingredients well.
  13. 13Heat oil in a wok on medium to low flame.
  14. 14Add 10-12 chopped garlic cloves to the hot oil.
  15. 15Fry the garlic until it changes color slightly.
  16. 16Filter the garlic from the oil once it's lightly browned, ensuring it's not white or dark.
  17. 17Add oil to the wok.
  18. 18Add sliced onion and capsicum to the hot oil.
  19. 19Add green chilies to the wok.
  20. 20Stir-fry the vegetables on high flame.
  21. 21Add shredded carrot and cabbage to the wok.
  22. 22Toss all the vegetables on high flame.
  23. 23Make some space in the center of the wok.
  24. 24Add the prepared sauce to the center of the wok.
  25. 25Stir the sauce gently for a bit.
  26. 26Add the cooked soya chunks and noodles to the wok.
  27. 27Mix all the ingredients well in the wok.
  28. 28Add spring onion to the noodles.
  29. 29Add the burnt garlic to the noodles.
  30. 30Mix everything thoroughly.
  31. 31Serve the Burnt Garlic Noodles.
