Add a teaspoon of oil to the chicken and rub it all over.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
In a bowl add a cup of yogurt, 6 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp MSG, and 1 tsp of garlic powder.
Mix everything up.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and let it rest for at least an hour or overnight in the fridge.
Roughly chop 2 medium-sized onions.
In a pan, add a teaspoon of oil and a tablespoon of butter. Once the butter starts to sizzle, add the chopped onions and let it sauté on low heat.
Add a little bit of salt and a teaspoon of sugar to help in the caramelizing process.
Caramelize the onion on low heat until light brown.
In a bowl, add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tbsp of hot sauce, 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup, and the caramelized onions.
Season with salt and pepper and mix it well.
In a bowl, add 2 cups of flour, 2 tsp of salt, 2 tsp of pepper, and 2 tsp of red chili powder.
Dredge the chicken in the flour and coat it properly.
Add oil in a karahi or deep dish pan and let it heat up to 170°C or 338°F.
Add the breaded chicken carefully and cook it on medium-low heat for about 6-9 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Take the chicken out and let it rest for a minute.
Toast the burger buns.
Apply the burger sauce generously on the bottom bun. Add the lettuce, tomatoes (season with salt), and the fried chicken. Apply the sauce on the top bun and assemble the burger.
