Pasta with Creamy Tomato Sauce and Simple Salad

Directions

  1. 1Thaw out ground beef in cold water. Then toss it into a pan and season with garlic powder, oregano, thyme, dried parsley, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2Toss in onions and garlic to cook with the beef for a few minutes.
  3. 3Add in tomato paste and fry that in some olive oil for a couple more minutes.
  4. 4Add in apple cider vinegar, let that evaporate, then pour in some water or broth and let this simmer covered for about 10 minutes.
  5. 5Pour in some heavy cream.
  6. 6Add in the cooked pasta, grated pecorino romano, and pasta water to finish it all off.
  7. 7Make a salad with leftover romaine, lemon juice, salt, and pecorino romano.
  8. 8Serve the pasta with the salad and top with red pepper flakes and more cheese.
