Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. 2Remove membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. 3Rub ribs with olive oil.
  4. 4Season ribs with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. 5Wrap ribs tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet.
  6. 6Bake for 2½–3 hours until tender.
  7. 7In a saucepan over medium heat, combine barbecue sauce, honey, garlic, brown sugar, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  8. 8Simmer glaze for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  9. 9Remove ribs from foil.
  10. 10Brush ribs generously with glaze.
  11. 11Broil ribs for 3–5 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
  12. 12Boil potatoes in salted water for 15–20 minutes until fork-tender.
  13. 13Drain potatoes well.
  14. 14Mash potatoes with butter and warm milk until smooth and creamy.
