Roast sweet potatoes in the oven.

Peel the roasted sweet potatoes.

Mash the sweet potatoes with a hand mixer to get out all the strings.

Add cinnamon, lemon extract, vanilla extract, nutmeg, dark brown sugar, and white sugar to the sweet potato mixture.

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into a bowl.

Add the sweet potato mix to the sifted dry ingredients.

Pour in buttermilk.

Mix the ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Melt butter in an 8x8 square pan in the oven.

Add the biscuit mixture to the melted butter in the pan.

Smooth out the mixture in the pan.

Add slits into the biscuit mixture in the pan.

Pop the pan into the oven.

Brush with Texas Roadhouse butter after baking.
