Directions
- 1Add self-raising flour to a bowl.
- 2Add cornflour to the bowl.
- 3Add paprika to the bowl.
- 4Add salt to the bowl.
- 5Open a bottle of beer.
- 6Pour beer into the bowl with dry ingredients.
- 7Lightly mix the batter together with a whisk.
- 8Dust the fish with some flour.
- 9Dunk the fish in the batter.
- 10Fry the fish in oil.
- 11Remove the fried fish from the oil.
- 12Serve the fried fish on a plate with chips and a lemon wedge.

- 200 ml Beer
- 100 g Self-raising flour
- 50 g Cornflour
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 Lemon wedges
- Vegetable oil, for frying
