Directions
1
Add 1 cup and 1/3 cup of warm water to a bowl.
2
Add 2 and a quarter teaspoons of yeast.
3
Add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the bowl.
4
Whisk the ingredients together and let it sit on the counter for 5 minutes.
5
Add about 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the mixture.
6
Add about a teaspoon of salt.
7
Add 3 cups of all-purpose flour.
8
Place the bowl into an electric mixer with a dough hook and mix on medium speed for a few minutes until it all comes together.
9
While the dough is mixing, add about a teaspoon of garlic powder to the mixer.
10
Grease the bowl, put the dough in, cover it, and place it in a warm spot for no longer than an hour and 15 minutes.
11
Take some softened butter and add minced garlic to it, then blend the two together.
12
After about 40 minutes, roll out the dough into a large rectangle, similar to how you would for cinnamon buns.
13
Spread the garlic butter on the rolled-out dough.
14
Add a whole bunch of mozzarella cheese over the garlic butter.
15
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the mozzarella.
16
Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into strips; you can cut them into whatever size you want your buns to be.
17
Start rolling each strip of dough.
18
Place the rolled buns onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
19
Brush the tops of the buns with any extra garlic butter.
20
Bake the buns in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 16 minutes.

Tips
