Brown 2 lb of lean ground beef with a pat of butter and one small diced onion.

Add 2 Tbsp of Worcestershire sauce and season with your favorite all purpose blend.

Cook long enough to get a sear on the beef, then break it up good once both sides are brown.

Add 8 oz of fresh mushrooms and about a tablespoon of black pepper.

Add 4 oz of hatch green chili and scrape everything off the bottom of the pan.

Lower the heat to low and add 1 pint of heavy cream.

Place the lid on and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add a 12 oz bag of extra broad egg noodles and 3 cups of chicken broth.

Press the noodles down.

Bring it up to a simmer and place the lid on for 20 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes.

Optionally, add a little sour cream or habanero.

1 pint heavy cream
12 oz extra broad egg noodles
3 cups chicken broth

Tips
Season everything real good with your favorite all purpose blend.
Make sure and scrape everything off the bottom of the pan.
Stir the noodles after 10 minutes of simmering.
