Baked Potato Soup
Directions
- 1Cut bacon into small pieces and cook in a pot.
- 2Finely chop onion and celery.
- 3Melt butter in the pot and add flour, creating a roux.
- 4Whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth.
- 5Add garlic powder.
- 6Cut potatoes into cubes and add them to the soup.
- 7Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- 8Grate Tillamook Cheddar cheese.
- 9Add cooked bacon and cheese to the soup.
- 10Stir well and cover for a minute or two.
- 11Serve hot with sour cream, bacon bits, cheddar cheese, and green onions.
