Season a chuck roast with State Line Bold seasoning.

Sear the seasoned roast in a hot cast iron pan with olive oil for about 4 minutes per side.

Place sliced sweet onions in a slow cooker. Add butter, salt, more seasoning, a shot of red wine, and a shot of Worcestershire sauce.

Place seared roast on top of the onions in the slow cooker and pour in 4 cups of beef broth.

Cook on low for 8 hours.

Shred the roast and add it back to the slow cooker with toasted baguette slices.

Add a layer of Swiss cheese.

Cook on high for 20 minutes.

Garnish with parsley.
