1In a bowl, toss the chicken tenders with flour and seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, cayenne pepper).
2In another bowl, mix one-third of the flour mixture, cornstarch, baking powder and seasoning.
3Add club soda to the bowl with the flour mixture to create a thin pancake batter consistency.
4Dip the chicken tenders in the wet batter, then in the dry mixture, then in the wet batter again, and finally in the dry mixture one last time.
5Make the honey BBQ sauce by combining ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and honey in a pan. Add pieces of cold butter to make it smooth.
6Deep fry the chicken tenders in oil at 350°F for five to six minutes, let them rest, then fry again for one minute until golden brown.
