Pour buttermilk into a bowl.

Add hot sauce and seasoned salt; mix.

Cut cube steak into fingers and marinate for at least 2 hours.

Sprinkle flour onto a plate.

Pour oil into a cast iron skillet to cover the bottom.

Dredge steak fingers in the seasoned flour mixture and dip in the buttermilk mixture, coating it thoroughly.

Cook steak for 3-4 minutes on each side.

Place steak fingers on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

Remove the majority of oil from the skillet, leaving about a fourth of a cup.
