Directions

  1. 1Add oil to the pan and heat it up.
  2. 2Add the sotong (squid) marinated with turmeric powder and seasoning powder to the hot oil.
  3. 3Stir-fry the sotong until the water from the sotong has dried out.
  4. 4Add sliced Holland onion to the pan.
  5. 5Add cili padi (bird's eye chilies) to the pan.
  6. 6Add kaffir lime leaves and lemongrass to the pan.
  7. 7Add a dash of squid sauce to the mixture.
  8. 8Return the cooked sotong to the pan with the other ingredients.
  9. 9Stir-fry all ingredients together until well combined.
  10. 10Add oyster sauce to the mixture.
  11. 11Add a teaspoon of sugar.
  12. 12Squeeze fresh lime juice into the pan.
  13. 13Stir everything thoroughly for a final mix.
  14. 14Serve the Sotong Goreng Kunyit Thai on a plate.

  • 9 biji cili padi
  • 6 helai daun limau purut
  • 1 batang serai

  • sos tiram
  • 1 tsp gula
  • 0.5 biji limau nipis

Tips
