Chicken Dumplings

Directions

  1. 1Chop the celery into a nice chop.
  2. 2Dice an onion.
  3. 3Chop the carrots in half and give it a chop.
  4. 4Dice a shallot.
  5. 5Chop up rosemary nicely and finely.
  6. 6Mince the garlic.
  7. 7Add all-purpose flour, a pinch of salt, garlic powder, and baking powder to a bowl and mix.
  8. 8Crush the butter down with the flour between your fingers.
  9. 9Add milk, and sour cream and mix it up.
  10. 10Add a good amount of chives.
  11. 11Drizzle oil into a pot on medium heat.
  12. 12Add everything that you cut up, but the garlic.
  13. 13Add some salt and pepper.
  14. 14Once the onions are translucent, add the garlic and cook for two minutes.
  15. 15Add butter and let it melt, and then add flour.
  16. 16Mix the flour immediately and let it cook for two minutes on medium heat.
  17. 17Add a 12 ounce can of evaporated milk a little at a time.
  18. 18Add some chicken stock, starting with two cups.
  19. 19Let this cook for one minute, and then add two more cups of chicken stock.

  21. 21Add one more cup of chicken stock so that there are five cups total.
  22. 22Add the rosemary, dried thyme, smoked paprika, more salt and pepper, and a spoonful of chicken bouillon, and mix it all up.

  25. 25Put the lid back on for 15 minutes.
