Baked Onion with Garlic Herb Sauce

Directions

  1. 1Cut the top and bottom off a Vidalia onion.
  2. 2Peel the onion.
  3. 3Cut four slits in the onion.
  4. 4Place pats of butter in the slits.
  5. 5Place a knob of butter in the center.
  6. 6Sprinkle Cajun seasoning, adobo seasoning, garlic powder, and lemon pepper on the onion.
  7. 7Wrap the onion in aluminum foil.
  8. 8Bake the onion in a 375°F oven for 1 hour.
  9. 9Make the sauce by melting half a stick of butter in a small pan.
  10. 10Add chopped garlic to the melted butter.
  11. 11Add the same seasonings used on the onion.
  12. 12Cook until the garlic caramelizes.
  13. 13Pour the sauce over the baked onion.
